BreakTurn offers free career counseling and mentorship to Service Members transitioning to the civilian aviation industry and, as a DoD-approved SkillBridge provider, places them with partner companies for up to their last 180 days of service.

BreakTurn is an intermediary between active duty Service Members and the civilian aviation industry. Utilizing the DoD Skillbridge program and the Army’s Career Skills Program (CSP), enables BreakTurn to place Service Members with industry partners. With a team of counselors to walk you through the SkillBridge/CSP process, we will assist you in finding the right internship, apprenticeship, or training path to achieve your goals in the aviation industry.

Discuss your goals with one of our counselors to identify the best path forward.

3. Complete paperwork for SkillBridge/CSP approval

We will provide you with an offer letter for a role with one of our partners along with any additional paperwork needed for your approval process.

BreakTurn partners enjoy a full-service SkillBridge Program managed entirely by our team as well as a marketing platform to reach the widest population of qualified military Service Members. We provide value not only to the Service Member with our free counseling and SkillBridge placement platform, but also to our partner companies by gaining them early access to qualified candidates, and onboarding them salary free for up to 180 days. Service Members on SkillBridge will continue to receive their full military pay and benefits for the entire internship of up to 180 days! This allows all candidates the opportunity to make a successful transition from the military into the civilian sector without the risk of unemployment. .

We also work with candidates looking for initial flight training and A&P certification. SkillBridge allows Service Members to attend training full time while still receiving their full military pay and benefits. Training facilities can also utilize SkillBridge for paid positions like CFI’s, maintainers and operations positions.
